Globus Medical, Robotics Division

Boston, Massachusetts
  • C++ development within Qt framework on robotic system that helps guide spinal surgery. System uses IR tracking of surgical tools and references in conjunction with CT registration to navigate to millimeter-level accuracy
  • Created, trained, and deployed a fully convolutional neural net to perform vertebra segmentation on spinal fluoroscopy shots, which helped improve the registration algorthim
  • Advanced git workflow in agile workflow
  • Platform development, working on many areas on the robot such as the UI, DB, OS, and more.
Jan 2019 - July 2019

Autonomous Robotics and Perception Group

University of Colorado Boulder
  • Developed a SLAM algorithim based on radar scans to be used on autonomous drones to map subterranean environments
  • Used ROS to interface with TI mmWave radar, Hokuyo lidar and Intel RealSense camera to compare data outputs
  • Used MATLAB to quantify and compare measurements from different sensors
  • Modifyed firmware to improve radar algorithms on TI mmwave chip
